RESPONSIVE REDESIGN / ECOMMERCE / CMS
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) needed an eCommerce solution that brought all of their discrete product lines together into a single cart. Their product teams wanted a robust product details page, but were concerned about having a long scrolling page.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead User Experience Designer / Sales, Client Presentations, Stakeholder Workshops, User Stories, Process Flows, Information Architecture, Interface Design, Usability Testing
Met with each individual team to create user stories for their specific product line. Then used the commonalities to create and present the user stories for the eCommerce site as a whole.
Created a sticky element on the right rail of the product pages that contains the product name, price, and purchase CTA, enabling the a product detail page with robust content. Whenever the user finds the product information that tips her purchase decision, the CTA is at hand.
