Hi, I’m Caryn!
I’m a User Experience Designer & Manager in Seattle.

About me

I’m a Staff UX Designer & UX Manager at Google, working on Google Cloud Platform, as well as the co-founder of Seattle Women of Design & UX Meetup group, hosting monthly events for our 3,300+ members.

Since 2011, I've been helping companies from startups to medical associations to operas to cloud providers architect and design experiences that nest into the cross section of user needs, business goals, and technical limitations.

I’ve worked on both consumer and enterprise products at small start-ups, nimble agencies, and organizationally complex corporations. No matter how unique the request, I have yet to meet a project that doesn't benefit from a keen understanding of the people the experience is being built for. My strengths in storytelling and bringing clarity to complexity enable me to rally teams to focus on the right things. This ensures my teams build experiences that solve real problems, and make customers' lives easier in the process.

As the co-founder of Seattle Women of Design & UX, I’m very involved with the Seattle UX community. Whether it’s planning events, speaking, or teaching, it’s important to me to find ways to give back.
