Seattle Opera

I was the Lead UX Designer for a complete redesign (including full site architecture redesign) of Seattle Opera’s website. They were needed a mobile friendly experience to enhance the overall experience of their patrons.

Key Solutions

Designed a unique a calendar experience that used a single view to combine the benefits of the traditional theater approach of having a separate calendar view and list view for events.

Conducted remote card sorting exercises (both open and closed) with Seattle Opera end users to inform new architecture structure. Conducted usability study to identify existing usability issues and key goals for the redesign.

Outcome

“We want the Seattle Opera calendar,” became a common request from Adage’s many theater clients. This redesign launched in 2015 and the interaction design is still intact 5+ years later.

Cox Communications

Cox Communications is a telecommunications provider. While at FCB Global I was the Lead UX Designer on the Cox Communications account.
